Challenge Cards #2 – Happy Penguin Holidays

Hello! The holidays have finished, but I still haven’t sent and presented all the cards I wanted. And this was also a great chance to participate in Simon Monday Challenge to try and win a 50$ voucher. So here comes the card. There has been no sketch suggested, which allowed all the participants to have freedom in creation. For this card I used a tiny, yet very helpful and cute Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin Clear Stamps Set. It is extremely helpful and can be very well stretched. This penguin can have dozens colour versions. Of course, I used my favourite watercolour pencil technique. For the penguin’s outline I used VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Moving on to the paper. I used paper from 2 sets, the background one is from the Dovecraft Back To Basics IV 6″ x 6″ pad. The small one is from Prima 6″ x 6″ pad, I believe, but the name of the collection is long lost. I also used twine from the Dovecraft Curiosity Corner 3-set, which also includes red and brown twines. To make the penguin’s scarf and skates shine I used Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush. I use it so much, pretty soon I’ll need a new one! That finishes my card for today. I do hope you like it. Have a good day and thanks for reading.
